Ayu, also called Sweetfish from Miya-gawa (Miya River).

Miya-gawa is a major river that flows through side of Ise-Jingu (a major shrine of indigenous religion in Japan). Until the Edo period, Ayu fishing was prohibited in it. The fish were used as offerings for Gods.
